There come times when you want to cross out a word in a message, or you say something that needs to be omitted, but not quite deleted. These are times when the strikethrough text formatting feature comes in very handy.
To strikethrough a message in Discord, all you have to do is quote it with double tildes. A tilde is '~' (you need two of these), for those of you that were too busy sending fancy Discord messages in your English Language classes to know that.
If you were to write ~~message that has a line through~~, it would show up as
message that has a line through in chat.
