Sending messages in an italical font in Discord is surprisingly simple. Discord's chat formatting system "Markdown Text" has two methods to make text italical. This guide will teach you how to use both of them so that you can write italic text in Discord.
The first method is using asterisks ('*'). Use this method, simply quote your message with asterisks. Writing *message in italics* would read as message in italics, like so:
